Window Closes on Last Tab Close

So I've unchecked the "Exit when last session is disconnected" on version 8.0.2 (on El Capitan), but the SecureCRT window still closes when I close the last tab. The application itself does not exit, but it's basically the same UI behavior.

Is this a bug or is there some way to keep that window open? I've tried with the Session Manager auto-hidden and permanently opened.

We have been unable to reproduce the problem that you're
reporting. We'd like to request some configuration files
from you, but it wouldn't be a good idea to post that kind

Just to follow up publicly:

Sent the information, only happens when using Command-W to close the last window. Bug has been submitted.
