crt.Screen.ReadString / Format problems

we are capturing the response from the securecrt screen
to get the apache server status for example.

this works fine with out script.

we get the whole server answer,
but certain letters are in the wrong format.

this may come , because we have setup securecrt
to answer in german readable letters.

so we see on the securecrt screen the right readable content,
but captured in the clipboard we have the wrong format.

example same first line:
● apache2.service - The Apache HTTP Server

[0;1;32m●[0m apache2.service - The Apache HTTP Server[m

we would be very happy if somebody could help us to make this readable.

cheers mike

Hi mike1950r,

The string is being sent from the remote with embedded escape codes.

You should be able to rectify this behavior by the by setting the Screen.IgnoreEscape property to True. By default, a Screen object's IgnoreEscape property is set to False.

crt.Screen.IgnoreEscape = True
Does settings the Screen object's IgnoreEscape property to True resolve the behavior?
