Number of seconds before Auto-Reconnect

HI all,

Is there a way to modify the delay time that the session attempts to reconnect? By default it is set to 5 seconds, but it is a bit too short for my use.

Hi ykelvin,

Thanks for the question. You can modify this setting in the Global.ini file. The name of the line to change is:

D:"Auto Reconnect Interval"=00000005

To edit the Global.ini file:

1. Close all instances of SecureCRT. If changes are made to the Global.ini file while SecureCRT is running, the changes made will be undone when SecureCRT is restarted.
   
2. Edit the Global.ini file (located in SecureCRT's configuration folder location indicated by the Configuration folder field in the General category of the Global Options Dialog. Add/modify lines as instructed.
   
3. Save the Global.ini file and start SecureCRT.
