Why come here for updates?

Hey everyone,

I am a little confused , why does the software bring me to the forums to check for updates? I have never found a notice here for an update. Am I missing something?

Hi James,

SecureCRT 6.6.1 had a bug that would do what you are describing when checking for updates. This has been fixed and the fix is in SecureCRT 6.7.3 which can be downloaded from the following location:

http://www.vandyke.com/download/securecrt/download.html

After installing SecureCRT 6.7.3, the next check for updates should not have the problem.
