Open in Tab

Does anyone else dislike having to mouse to the bottom of the connect window to select if they want to open in a new window or this window in a tab?
I find it a hassle.
May I suggest that you have more choices in the right click popup of the connect window.
Both "new window, and open in tab option".

I normally open a group of servers via a subdir so they all open in tabs in the same window. Sometimes I need to add another instance or another server to the group. I see you have "clone session/clone in new window". I would like to see a similiar option in the connect window.

No.
But that's because I open everything in tabs.
You could use Alt-O instead of the mouse.

Also, there's File - Connect and File - Connect in Tab.

Hi sfaid,

I have added a feature request to our development database in your behalf regarding the addition of a 'Connect in tab' option to the right-click context menu in the Connect Dialog.

In the event that such a feature is implemented, we will post to this forum thread. Feel free to send us a note and reference this forum thread (3340) if you wish to be contacted personally.

Is this what you were looking for?

In the meantime Olaf's suggestion is probably the easiest way to toggle the 'Open in tab' option in the Connect dialog.
