Copy Session Options to multiple sessions

How can I apply a Session Option to multiple sessions?

For example, suppose I want to use the "Set word delimiter characters" set to "/*" for all my sessions.

Is there a way to assign a Session Option like the one described above to all or a selected number of sessions?

Or do I have to go to each session, choose the Options, Session Option, navigate to that parameter, check it, then type in the values I want?

Thanks -- David

In version 5, a global change can be made for allsessions.
In version 4.x, it's a manual change per session .... but ....

You could always do a folder/subfolder find & replace with ultraedit (or another text editor), doing this:

Find:
S:"Word Delimiter Chars"=
Replace with:
S:"Word Delimiter Chars"=/*

Thats what I ended up doing... but with EditPad :-).
I didn't see a version 5.0 on the web site. How do we get access to it?

Hello marti

The option to set word delimiter characters is a Session
Option only, but you can make the change to all of your
sessions by changing that setting in your "Default" session.

If you open your Global Options to the "Default Session"
category, you can click the "Edit Default Settings" button
to open the Session Options for your "Default" session. The
"Default" session is what your quick connect session and all
new sessions are based on. Once you have made a
configuration change to your "Default" session, you will be
asked if you would like to apply the change you just made to
all existing sessions. If you choose to do so, that change
will be applied to your existing sessions and it can't be
undone.

Does that work for you?

Thank you

JJH

Hi marti

No problem. I'm glad that did the trick.
