Feature Request: TXT/RTF Logging

Currently, SecureCRT defaults to having log files use the .log extension. Can that change?

Can it default to one of 2 options via the 'save as type' drop-down:

1) TXT - Plain Jane text file like you have today.
2) RTF - Logging that preserves keyword colorization.

* I'm saying TXT instead of LOG, because I don't know offhand if there is an official 'LOG' format. When you say TXT, RTF, CSV, XLS, HTML... those are defined/standard formats. Does .LOG define a format?

Hi Casey,

Yes it can change. You would select All Files (*.*) from the Save as type: dropdown and then provide your own extension.

The .log extension is not defined to my knowledge. SecureCRT just uses standard text format.

Currently SecureCRT does not log in RTF format. We will post to this thread if we add the ability in the future.
