Running SecureCRT with a script
is there a way to acually run SecureCRT with a vbScript and have it do the functions inside that script?
The scripts will not run "stand alone" now because of the first two lines of code with the "#" signs. I know that their is a command line that has the "/script" augument but I would like it be self contained within the script so the program starts and executes the command within the script then exits. Kind of like what you can do with scripting MS Office, you can start Excel and modify data save it and close it without every knowing it was opened. |

Hi Wasodg2,
I can see that this is an older post but I wanted to make a post here in case your question was not answered. Currently, SecureCRT does require the GUI interface to open to run the script. We have had requests to allow SecureCRT to be controlled externally (no GUI). If you would like to be contacted if this happens, please send a message to support@vandyke.com with a subject of ATTN: Teresa Forum Thread 666.
