Permanent key mapping - SecureCRT

I can map a key for a session, but I cannot seem to make it permanent. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hi rds,

Thanks for the post.

What version of SecureCRT are you using?

What operating system?

Do you have permissions to write to the configuration folder location?

You can find the configuration folder location in the General / Configuration Paths category of the Global Options dialog.

Thanks for the information rds.

How is the key mapping not permanent?

Do you want the key to be mapped for all sessions?

If so, you could use either of the following tips:

http://www.vandyke.com/support/tips/multisessions.html

Issue was with the backspace key, fortunately under options->global options->default session there's a map backspace to delete radio button (was trying to map backspace to \177) but it wouldn't persist. Seems to be working now, thanks.
