getting hostname and ip addr from session

I have a ton of hosts in my session and i would like to create a host file from the info in my session.


i know i can export the session but it comes out in xml format with lots of info per session.

is there a know script that i can use to get this done.

It looks like you may be wanting to take pieces of information from saved sessions located within SecureCRT's session manager and export elements of this info into a file that you can use as a "hosts" file.

If I'm misunderstanding your original goal, please let me know.

Which platform are you running SecureCRT on... Windows? Mac? Linux?

What is the "hostname" that you'd want to map each session's IP address to -- would it be the session name itself?

The script example, "Iterate Over Saved Sessions" found on our scripting examples "sticky" would be the place to start, but as of yet the example is in VBScript code, not python, so it won't work for you if you're on a non-Windows platform with your SecureCRT installation.
