Serial console connection requiring two "enter" keystrokes to send data
I'm using SecureCRT 6.0.2 to access a serial console via an RS-232 port connected to my laptop via a male to female db9 cable, then an RS-232 to USB 2.0 adaptor, then a USB 2.0 extension cable (yes, it really took this to get connected). Everything seems to work fine EXCEPT that the connection requires a double tap on the enter key in order to send the data over. Anyone have any experience with this, and know how to fix it to a single entry? I suspect this is also screwing up a script I'm trying to run from my laptop. Thanks.

Hello tperry,
SecureCRT 6.0.2 is an older version. You might want to check your upgrade eligibility here. Typically out of sync behavior such as you described would lead me to believe the serial session parameters are not correct. Most often I would suspect the flow control configuration, but in this case, due to the extra hardware involved, it could just be an incompatibility between devices. Are all the device drivers up to date? What type of behavior do you experience with regard to the script?
