Customizing SSH shortcut startup

Hi everyone, new to the board, so be nice! Every night at work, I log on to about 4 different servers via SSH. I open the app, and then click on profiles, and go to the specific server I need to go to. I was just curious. Is there a way I could creat an SSH shortcut on my desktop for each of those servers, that has something in the command line of the shortcut, to automatically load a specific profile? Just curious.
Thanks.

Hi Paqman,

This is possible in SecureCRT.

There is a '/S' command line option that can be used to open a session when the shortcut is selected.

To accomplish this:

1. Create a copy of the SecureCRT shortcut.

2. Then modify the properties of that shortcut.

3. In the 'Target' box in the properties dialog, just add '/S <sessionname>' after SecureCRT.exe and click 'OK'

4. Rename the shortcut so that it will be easy to tell which server it will connect to.

These steps can be used to create other shortcuts for other servers.

Each of these shortcuts will open each session in a separate window.

If you would like to open them all at once in individual tabs in SecureCRT 5.x, then modify the 'Target' by adding the following after SecureCRT.exe:

/S <session1> /S <session2> /S <session3> /S <session4>

Was this the information that you needed?
