SSH2 Password Change Procedure

Our managed vendor allows us to SSH to the devices, but not to force a password change. We need to wait until it expires on its own and then we are prompted at that time by the interactive TACACS password change procedure.

Right now I have a situation where I need to change my password, however, the built-in Change Password routine in SecureCRT does not work. I suppose it is built just for the user initiated password change and not for the vendor imposed expiration routine.

I've tried to open a session using Logon Actions and checking the box "Display logon prompts in terminal window" but this does not actually show the prompts correctly (for example, the telnet session shows TACACS prompts, but this SSH session gives me "Username" / "Password" prompts).

So I need some way for SecureCRT to provide a clear transparent SSH session passing me the router prompts for this password change procedure.

Vic

Nevermind - I just now found the SSH2 setting Keyboard Interactive and it works fine.
