Cross Platform Session INI Files
I currently store my sessions on dropbox which is good cause I can access my sessions on my linux, mac and pc now.
I see that there are 2 predefined paths that are VDS_SSH_DATA_PATH VDS_USER_DATA_PATH What is the best way to handle paths inside the session ini files? Is it possible we either have a way to predefined some platform specif paths like VDS_LOCAL_UPLOAD_PATH VDS_LOCAL_DOWNLOAD_PATH VDS_LOCAL_SFTP_PATH VDS_LOCAL_TFTP_PATH this way we could cleanup the ini files to make them truly cross platform. |

Hi alexj212,
Cross platform paths are currently possible without your intervention in SecureCRT 7.2 and newer. What is the version of SecureCRT that you are using? |

I am running 7.2.6 but what I wanted to do was cleanup the ini files so they where good on all platforms. In terms of home dir etc. default upload / download dirs.
What style path is preferred / or \? |

Hi alexj212,
The directory separator used would be the one for the platform where you are making an edit. When you move the configuration folder to a new platform, the separator will be modified as needed. The following directory locations are currently supported:
On Mac OS X, you can use the .ssh folder as well. This would point to the Documents folder on Windows. Will this work for you? |
