Autologin + auto sudo
Is it possible to send 2 commands after autologin? I mean 'sudo user' and password? Is it safe to keep password in that way?
I've tried to add in Logon Action, after "assword:" expect: "user" and Send: "sudo user", but it didn't work. I've also tried to dowload some login script, but it also didn't work. Can anyone help me? |

Hi bartm,
Thanks for the question. Saving passwords is not recommended. The feature exists because we have had many requests for it. With regards to automating the login process, do you have the password saved for the session? If so, then the first Logon Action item should be to look for the indication that the remote is ready for the username. |

Is this possible now?
How can I pass a remembered password from credential store to a script? |

Hello mrbeeye,

By "remembered password", are you referring to a password saved within a SecureCRT session? Presently, the /ENCRYPTEDPASSWORD password command-line option is the only mechanism that exists for using passwords saved in SecureCRT sessions. See the SecureCRT Help topic Using the Software / Command-Line Options / Table of Protocol-Specific Command-Line Options for more info.
