Feature Request: Ability to run a local command in a SecureCRT Window
I would like to be able to run a local interactive program as a session in SecureCRT -
A basic use case would be the ability to run "cmd.exe" as a SecureCRT Session. Personally, I would like to be able to run my local Cygwin sessions alongside my SSH sessions. |

Hi tewner,
I have created a feature request in our SecureCRT enhancement database to add the ability to run CMD within a SecureCRT tab. Should we add this feature in the future, we will post to this forum thread. If you would like to be notified directly, please complete and submit the form at the following location: Submit Feature RequestWith regards to your cygwin installation, if it includes an SSH server, you should be able to connect to that using SecureCRT. Does your cygwin installation have an SSH server? Have you tried to connect to it? |

...or just be able to run arbitrary commands...
SSH into my local Cygwin instance? I'd much rather just be able to open a session which calls "bash.exe".
