Different sessions in the same window? (tabs)

I have two servers I ssh to with SecureCRT. I can open a connection to one server, then right-click on the tab and clone the session which creates a new tab in the same window for the same server. Nice. But I'd like to also have a connection to the second server in another tab within the same window. The only way I know how to connect to that second server is File/[server-name]. But this opens the connection in a completely new window.



Am I doing it wrong? Is there an option that will fix this for me?

I just downloaded the x64 windows trial version today.

No, I didn't overlook that. I wanted to get the information you asked for immediately.


Unless I'm misunderstanding it, that's not the problem. From what I can tell, the solution offered there is go to the menu option Windows and make sure "Tabs" is selected, which it always has been. I'm assuming this is the default, since I didn't change that.

There is a second part to that in #2 at bottom.

Right-click any session or folder in Session Manager. If Open Sessions in a Tab/Tile is not enabled, enable it.
