Port forwarding
Hi group!
I have some issues with my port forwarding... 1. I configured a rule forwarding 127.1.1.1:4002 to 10.1.34.1:3389. When I'm doing a RDP on 127.1.1.1:4002, everything work fine! If I'm trying the same thing with my computer IP adress (192.168.1.1), it is not working. Why??? forwarding 192.168.1.1:4002 to 10.1.34.1:3389. When I'm doing a RDP on 192.168.1.1:4002, 2. On my desktop #1, I got SecureCRT installed with some forwarding rules to the external servers. On my desktop #2, I would like to open a RDP to the desktop #1 to open a connection to one of my external server. How to configure the port forwarding to forward the connection of my desktop #2??? Thanks! |

Hi mivil,
Thanks for the post. I am not sure if I fully understand your goal. It sounds like you are trying to secure your RDP session from Desktop 2 to Desktop 1 using SSH2. If that is correct, do you have an SSH2 server installed on Desktop 1 to accept the SSH2 connection that you are making to Desktop 1? If not, then I think that more details are needed. |
