CTRL-F4 (MENU_TAB_CLOSE) not working in SecureCRT 8.5.4 on Kubuntu 19.04

Pressing CTRL-F4 does not close the active tab.

This is a fresh installation of the OS (Kubuntu 19.04 (5.0.0-19-generic))and SecureCRT 8.5.4 (build 1942); After trying to re-map it and it still not working, I deleted my ~/.vandyke directory to clear all settings.

When I first open SecureCRT and no sessions are open, the mapping shows in the Keymap Editor;

When I connect to a (default) session, the Ctrl-F4 combination goes away;

Default session is configured for Xterm emulation with the default key mappings;

Unable to edit to fix formatting, apologies. Also, want to add that I installed via;

sudo dpkg -i scrt-8.5.4-1942.ubuntu18-64.x86_64.deb

Oh boy, it seems that a global shortcut mapping for Kwin was overriding SecureCRT's mapping.

I only use 2 virtual desktops so I disabled this Kwin mapping and Ctrl+F4 now works to close tabs in SecureCRT. Kind of ashamed I didn't look at this before posting, but maybe this thread will help someone else out.

Thank you so much for posting both your problem description (fantastic screen shots, by the way!) and the solution you discovered.
