Multiple windows similair to PuttyCM

Hi , Just wondering if there is any way or whether this can be added as a feature request if it doesn't exist , using Putty Connection manager , you are able to drag and drop / re-size multiple sessions on your primary window , which makes comparing configs etc easy , i know you can just open multiple windows , but would prefer them all in one place.

Hello IanK,

If there's a feature you want that doesn't already exist we can add a feature request.

It sounds like you're wanting the ability to tile sessions within a single window.

Am I understanding you correctly?

This will give you a idea of what i mean , the ability of having multiple windows tabbed and visible is fantastic , and would make my life much easier.

Thanks for the link clarifying what you're wanting. I've added a feature request and if we do add this functionality in a future release we will post a follow up message to this forum thread. If you would also like an e-mail message, please let us know.

Thanks for posting the link. As miked mentioned, your request has been added to our development database for consideration in a future version of SecureCRT.

In the meantime, something you can do in SecureCRT 6.0 or later to compare the contents of two sessions is right click on a tab and select "Send to New Window". When you are done comparing the sessions, you can drag the session back into the other SecureCRT window.

I'm interested in this as well. It would be a great feature for secureCRT.

Thanks darkoth,

I've updated the request so that we have a better idea of how many people are interested in the feature. Let us know if you want e-mail notification should this feature be implemented.

Tiling has been implemented in a beta version of SecureCRT. If you'd like to try it, you can download the beta installer from the following web page:

Hello vrkgali,

Glad to hear tiling is looking good to you. Can you tell me more about the cluster ssh capabilities you're wanting? Are they necessarily related to tiling, or could cluster ssh be considered a separate idea/request?
