When opening SecureCRT it connects to last session

Is there a way to stop SecureCRT from automatically connecting to the last session when opening it? I just want it to open and wait for me to select which session I want to connect to, but it seems to always connect to the last session.

Hi pfletch,

Is Remember and connect to sessions from last use enabled in the General / Default Session category of Global Options?

If so and you disable it, is the issue resolved?

Sorry, I was working on another project for the last few weeks. The Remember and connect to session from last use is NOT selected. See attachment.

Thanks,

Hello pfletch,

Do you start SecureCRT from a shortcut?

If so, if you check the Properties of that shortcut, are there any arguments that follow the path to SecureCRT's executable?

There are no arguments in the shortcut
"C:\Program Files\VanDyke Software\SecureCRT\SecureCRT.exe"

Hello pfletch,

What version of SecureCRT are you using?

On what platform/operating system?

Please list the explicit steps documenting how you launch SecureCRT.

You may note that I am grasping at straws, because we have covered the most common (if not all) ways SecureCRT could be launched so that it opens a session at startup.

Please attach a screenshot (with any sensitive data redacted) that shows the initial state when you launch SecureCRT.

Hello pfletch,

Please contact support@vandyke.com and include "Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #11458".

We have some other suggestions not appropriate to post in the public forum.
