Transfer Tables Between Two Separate Servers
I'm looking for a way to automate the transfer of several tables between two different servers. I'm connected to both servers in SecureFX. Usually, I have to drag-and-drop one table at a time from a location in Server A to a different location in Server B, but this is getting tedious.
Is there a way to set up all of these transfers automatically, so that when I update these tables in Server A, I can go into SecureFX, run a script, and they'll all be updated in Server B? Let me know if I can clarify anything above! Thanks |

Hi craned,
Why not use Synchronize (Tools menu) in SecureFX? Here's a video about it. While the video might illustrate local to remote syncs (or vice-versa), I have just tested and verified you can do a server-to-server sync (supported in v8.1 and later). ![]() Once you have created a Sync session, you can use it with SFXCL to automate the task: SFXCL /Synchronize "Server2Server_Sync" You'll want to throw in logging and some other options probably. See this tip on our website about SFXCL. It does not delve into Quick Sync and Synchronize operations but the SecureFX help topic Getting Started / Command-Line Utility has all the options and syntax.
