highlight keyword string

Is it possible to highlight keyword strings? I find the highlight keyword feature very useful and would like to expand it to look for a phrase. I tried entering in a phrase like "out of memory" with double quotes, single quotes, encoded and with some vbscript variants. I get an error when I enter an actual space and none of the other options have been successful in matching the phrase.

Hello devrick0,

Substring matches are not currently supported in the keyword highlighting functionality.

I have added this thread to a feature request in our development database for support of substring and phrase matches in keyword highlighting. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here.

If you prefer direct e-mail notification, contact support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #5600" in the subject line.

The ability to match phrases and substrings when doing keyword highlighting has been added to SecureCRT 8.7, which is currently in beta testing. It can be downloaded here.
