set name of tab when launching a session?

Is there a way to explicitly set the tab name when launching a session from the CLI? I have a bunch of systems that constantly change IP/port numbers so I have a script that builds a dynamic batch file to log into them, it would be very useful to have something like a "TAB_NAME" option when I kick these off in a windows batch file...

Is this possible?

Hi ljwobker,

You can set the tab name when launching a session from the CLI using /N, followed by the tab name.

You may also want to use the /T argument, which is used to open sessions in tabs, instead of separate instances of SecureCRT.

Example syntax:

Code:
SecureCRT /N "Tab Name" /T /SSH2 /L username /Password password /P port hostname
