I'm not sure if this exists yet, but is there anyway I can just "right-click" or hit something to copy the title and description of a connection? So instead of going into the properties and copying the description pasting it then copying the title and pasting that. That would be a shortcut to do both.
I need this because it would make it a little easier to copy and paste the information into an excel or word document. I have the connections MAC address, model, and the ios information in the description. This might be a stupid feature, and im not sure if it needs to be added or even thought of. It might even exist already too. ![]() ![]() |

Hi GuitarDude,

How are you manually copying the title?

Possible New Feature
I meant to say the Name. I right click or (Alt+Enter) and go to the properties of the session. Then copy the Name paste it in a notepad. Then go back and copy the description.

Hi GuitarDude,
A couple options come to mind. If this is something that you need to do to all your sessions or a subset of sessions that shares a naming pattern, then I have some script examples that write the data out to a CSV file. The following line shows you the data fields that are possible: WriteToFile "Session,Hostname,Protocol,Emulation,Description,ServerIdent", g_strOutputFile What OS is SecureCRT installed on? I only have one example in Python and I would want to do some testing first based on exactly what you want to accomplish. If this is more of an ad hoc operation and you really just want the data in your clipboard, you probably would just use a simpler script that gets those two pieces of data.
