Possible to un-Word Wrap?
I'm sure everyone has been there.. you issue a command and the output of data has some really long lines and word-wraps to the next line. You instinctively widen your SecureCRT window, but things stay wrapped. You have no other option but to re-issue the same command and hope you've widened things enough so that you don't word-wrap again.
My question.. is it possible to make SecureCRT un-Word Wrap (re-evaluate the wrapping for the text in the buffer) when you re-size a window? That, and being able to completely disable wordwap without re-sizing (meaning the horz. slider would have to show up if the box wasn't large enough) would be dandy. |

Hi Casey,
I have created two feature requests in our SecureCRT enhancement database to add these capabilities. Should we add them in a future SecureCRT release, we will post to this thread. If you would like to be notified directly, please complete and submit the form at the following location: Submit Feature Request |

Wow, I was just going to ask about this.
The way putty & ZOC behave (expand the window & it un-wraps the lines), is something I am very interested in seeing in a new release.

Thanks Tom.
We will post to this thread if we do add this feature in a future SecureCRT release. Last edited by rtb; 11-14-2013 at 10:00 AM. |

... just wondering if this ever made the road map; I find the need for this almost daily.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for letting us know you are still interested in the feature. This feature has still not been implemented. Should we add it to a future SecureCRT release, we will post to this thread. |
