Line Count

I was wondering if there was a feature in which I could turn on a line count on the side. Similar to Notepad++ where it shows the line numbering on the left hand side.

If this is a feature already I cannot find it. Does anyone know how to enable it, or does it even exist?

Hi BinaryBandit,

This functionality is not presently available in SecureCRT.

I have added this thread to a feature request in our product enhancement database for an option to enable line numbers in the terminal window. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here.

If you prefer direct email notification, contact support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #11942" in the subject line.

In the meantime, you might log to a file (Session Options / Terminal / Log File) or via File menu, and then you can open the resulting log file in the editor of your choice that provides line numbers.
