vshelld_config file

Any thoughts of turning this into xml?

I say this, because I can see scripting changes into the file, to be a bit easier ...

Hi Tom,

I have entered a request to see if the 'vshelld_config' file could be changed to be in XML format.

If this change is made in any future version of VShell, we will let you know!

Tom,

Are you interested in this for UNIX, Windows or both?

For your purposes, would a mechanism to export to/import from XML work almost as well? If so, we have something you could try now that will be bundled with VShell 3.0 (Windows only).

Hi Jeff -

I'm all Linux

Presently, I have a script that add users, makes their sftp home directories & chmod's them with a suid sticky bit.

I'd like to be able to script the addition of the SFTPVirtualDirectories as well ... it's killing me.

Originally, I was thinking that an XML config file would be easier to script changes into ... now, drafting an xml type file layout ... I'm not too sure

I'll have to get back to you guys ... sorry for the confusion...
