Selecting a Block of Text, rather than a Windows selection

Hi, I am new on this forum. Just got the terminal emulator installed today. Previously we used Anita, but it is not apparently secure enough for our DBA.

I am interested to know if there is a way to configure the "click and drag" functionality to effectively SELECT (Microsoft word) a rectangular block of text, rather than the conventional way that Word does it. I ask this because in many cases, I would like to eliminate the line numbers on the far left when I am copying code.

Any help is appreciated. TIA.

Andy

Holding down the ALT key while doing the select should do the trick.

If it isn't exactly what you need, please let us know.
