pop up with input in python

Hi

I need a pop up box that will list
a b c d e

then prompt for one of the options -
if i input a b c d e
continue and assign it to a variable to use during the entire loop.

if it is not an option listed ... continue to prompt or escape the script.

I saw how to do this in vbs .. but cant find how to do it in python.
