Chat Window

Hi -

Is there a way that I can open the chat window per SCRT window? It looks like an 'all or nothing' approach for the Mac version.

It is not currently possible to set the Chat Window state for separate SecureCRT windows. I have created a feature request in our SecureCRT development database to add this capability. Should a future release of SecureCRT have the ability to set the Chat Window state for each open SecureCRT window, we will post to this forum thread. I can't remember if I submitted this request, so I didn't do it again (for fear of a dupe) ... can you confirm?

I had 4 windows open, hit my 'show chat window' shortcut & bam, it opened on all of them, reminding me of this report.

I am not sure what it is you are asking. Are you asking if we received an e-mail from you requesting this feature?

If so, we have not received an e-mail from you. Additionally, you do not need to worry about a duplicate. Generally, we are able to correlate forum posts with e-mail requests.

If not, this thread has been added to the feature request, and if a future release has independent use of the Chat Window on a per SecureCRT window basis, we will post to this forum thread. Additionally, I have informed the SecureCRT product director that you are still interested in this feature.

If you are asking if this feature has been implemented yet, it has not.
