default sftp location?
Is the default location for sftp user settable? Appears to default to the SecureCRT install directory which isn't what I'd like the default to be.
ps. I actually use this a lot. |

I thought there was but I guess I am thinking of another program.
I agree, there should be a prefrences setting like there is for Zmodem which allows you to set default local and remote default directories per session and perhaps even a sftp batchfile to run when connecting. |

Zmodem File Transfer Upload/Download Directory
I also use this almost exclusively for sending and receiving files to and from my Linux servers. It's very important that I can configure SecureCRT to point the upload/downloads where I want.
Thanks. Brad |

Thanks for the suggestions. We are planning to add session options for initial local SFTP tab directory and initial remote SFTP tab directory.

Support for initial local and remote SFTP directories is available in beta 5. It can be found on the SFTP tab page under SSH2 in the Session Options dialog.

When I goto Options | Session Options, under Connection Terminal Protocol is set to ssh2 and file transfer is set to sftp. Both are grayed out and I can't move off this page without an error "The protocol SFTP is not supported in this version."
I'm running biild 930. |

What build number of SecureFX are you running?

I'm at work - my home machine was the one I was having issues on.
My work machine isn't having those problems and infact the Session Options screen is completely different. |

It sounds like you're also running SecureFX. If so, what build number of SecureFX are you running?
