macOS Big Sur & Apple Silicon support
Hi,
I'm currently running the production release of version 9.0 of SecureCRT and SecureFX on an M1 MacBook Pro. All is well (generally - but see below), but curious to know if it's possible to know a rough timeline as to when Big Sur and Universal binary support is forthcoming. Also, a problem where the integration between SecureCRT and SecureFX doesn't work unless the following is run on the command line: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/SecureCRT.app/ xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/SecureFX.app/ defaults delete com.vandyke.SecureCRT "Config Path" defaults delete com.vandyke.SecureFX "Config Path" still seems to be present in this version. The Connect Transfer/Both option through to SecureFX isn't present in SecureCRT until the above commands are run. Many thanks, Martyn |

UPDATE: Native M1/ARM builds of SecureCRT/SecureFX are available beginning with version 9.2. Currently, the 9.2 version is in its public beta cycle, and is available for download on the beta page. After 9.2 becomes an official release, it will be available from our official releases download page. Quote:
