hide menu/toolbar for single windows only

Is there a way to hide UI elements like the menu bar and tool bar for only a single window? I often want to drag a single tab out and remove pretty much all of the UI adornments surrounding that one tab to maximize visible session area.

(as an aside -- where did the old forum posts go? I see only 16 posts in the general forum, with no option to switch pages)

Hi scottmlew,

Would using full-screen mode (Alt+Enter) work for you?

See the Display Options at the bottom. It's probably defaulted to showing only "Last Month".

It would not, because I don't want quite that much space (or more accurately, to lose that much space available for other windows). I have a dual monitor setup and often I want as much vertical space in an ssh window that takes up about a third of the horizontal space on one monitor.

Yes, that was it. I've never had that happen before and missed that option when I was trying to figure out what was going on. Thanks.

Hi scottmlew,

I have created a feature request on your behalf in our product enhancement database for the ability to toggle toolbar, menu bar and status bar independently in separate instances (window). Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here.

If you prefer direct email notification, send an email to support@vandyke.com and include Feature Request - Forum Thread #14177 in the subject line or use this form from the support page of our website.
