Hi tonytonyistony,
You would first want to download the appropriate installer. Start here: https://www.vandyke.com/download/sec.../download.htmlYou will want to ensure that you select an Ubuntu 16 installer in the correct bitness, either 32/64 bit. I recommend the installer that ends in .deb. If you are running Ubuntu 16 on a 64 bit machine, for example, I'd recommend the installer named scrt-8.3.1-1537.ubuntu16-64.x86_64.deb. Once you've downloaded the correct installer you will want to navigate to the download location in your terminal and use the following command as root: Code:
dpkg -i scrt....... Some Ubuntu installations do not have the required libpng12.0 in place. If this is the case for your installation you can download libpng12.0 here. You would then install this package using: Code:
dpkg -i libpng12-0_1.2.50-2+deb8u3_amd64.deb Using these steps are you able to successfully install?
