Trouble transfering file from Pc to Cisco
Hello,
I get trouble copying from the PC to Cisco router. I got the following message: ------- %Error opening tftp://###.###.##.##/c800-universalk9-mz.SPA.155-3.M4a.bin (Timed out) --------- I check my PC it is well configure with the right IP. It was working perfectly and when I connect the dock, then I start getting trouble. Have a feeling they have 2 Ips: one PC and one Dock....I just dont know... Some body can assist? Hi guy,
We also received your email to support@vandyke.com. What do you mean by "connect the dock"? What version of SecureCRT are you using? On what OS/platform?

To verify your IP from the router's perspective, type "Show users" from the Cisco device. That will show you all connected devices, and you should be able to verify your connection IP easily.
IE: HTML Code:
<Router># show users
Line User Host(s) Idle Location
*388 vty 0 Admin idle 00:00:00 1.2.3.4

Ready through the forums in regards to TFTP transfer, there's some misunderstanding in the way how to make the most out of the build in TFTP service. I must admit it's the same for me. Would it be possible for you guys to produce a guide?

Hi dralar,
In general, customers use our products in many different ways and I am sure the same can be said for TFTP. So it's not really feasible to produce a guide where "one solution fits all" because that's not reality. ![]() Please elaborate on the issue you are experiencing. Also:

Hi dralar,
Are you experiencing an issue with TFTP? I have added this thread to a feature request in our product enhancement database to include more instructions for using TFTP in the SecureCRT Help documentation. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here. If you prefer direct email notification, send an email to support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #12548" in the subject line or use this form from the support page of our website.
