Session title rule?
I noticed the tab caption (terminal title?) is named randomly: e.g., I open a local terminal, the tab caption sometimes is "bogon", sometimes is "localhost", sometimes is "MacBooks-Pro-of-Big-Bang" and sometimes is "bash-3.2". I can never guess what will I get for the next coming session.
My appearance->Window->Title bar is left blank. It will be quite handy if it behaves like Terminal does (the current process title). Thank you. |

Hello bigbang,
There are five methods I can think of that a tab title can be set:
When you see that the tab name has changed, what does running the hostname command reveal? If you always want to have the session name as the tab name, enable 'Ignore window title change requests' option in the 'Terminal / Emulation / Advanced' category of Session Options. With regards to having the tab name always reflect the current command running, this is more difficult as SecureCRT is simply a broker between you and the shell.

Thank you. It works. Now the tab name is fixed to the session name.
