Credential Login for 8 Hour Rolling Passwords
To whom it may concern,
What would be the best way to modify credentials, specifically a password, that is to be updated every 8 hours? This will be for about 1300 sessions. Thanks. |

Hi usafdixon,
There is not a good solution presently when the window is so small. So the passwords are presently saved in the sessions? Where exactly? (ie: Password Properties in Connection / SSH2 category or Logon Actions in Session Options?) Default session is typically the mechanism to use to make mass changes to sessions. However, for the long term, I have added this thread to a feature request in our product enhancement database to add a credential manager/substitution database. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here. If you prefer direct email notification, send an email to support@vandyke.com and include Feature Request - Forum Thread #14515 in the subject line or use this form from the support page of our website.
