When will SecurCRT support python 3

As declared, Python 2.7 will reach the end of its life on January 1st, 2020
When will SecurCRT support python 3?

As displayed as follows, when we are installing some component via pip, it reminds us "Python 2.7 will reach the end of its life".

C:\windows\system32>pip install pyperclip
DEPRECATION:Python 2.7 will reach the end of its life on January 1st, 2020. Please upgrade your Python as Python 2.7 won't be maintained after that date. A future version of pip will drop support for Python 2.7.
Looking in indexes: http://mirror-sng.oa.com/pypi/web/simple/
Collecting pyperclip Downloading
Installing collected packages: pyperclip
Running setup.py install for pyperclip ... done
Successfully installed pyperclip-1.7.0

Hi Caiser,

We do not currently have a release date set for a version of SecureCRT that will support Python 3.

I have submitted a feature request on your behalf to implement this functionality in SecureCRT. Feature requests are typically prioritized based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the number of requests and the amount of implementation work required.

Should a future release of SecureCRT include this functionality, notification will be posted here.

If you prefer direct email notification, send an email to support@vandyke.com and include *"Feature Request - Forum Thread #13498"* in the subject line.

Another request for Python 3

I've only just started using the Python scripting capability of SecureCRT. It's very useful, but I would really like to see Python 3 support. All of the Python code I write for other purposes is in Python 3 because it has many improvements over Python 2, so when I try to reuse my other Python code as part of scripts in SecureCRT, I have to rewrite portions.

As previously noted, Python 2 will reach end of life on January 1st, so there will no longer be any support, including bug fixes and security fixes, after that.
