SecureCRT PortForwarding

Hi,

Is it possible to add a button/icon to open up the Port Forwarding Add dialog box or allow for it to be assigned to a key via keymap ?

Thanks

Tony,

Thanks for the feature request. I'm curious about the motivation behind the request. Do you change your port forwarding settings a lot while you're connected? If so, what is the reason you need to do this? I'm wondering if there's something SecureCRT could do at a lower level.

Hi Maureen,

The motivation behind this is 2 fold. I do use the port forwarding feature alot to many different clients. It would make it alot easier for me to just select a button on the toolbar instead of having to go Options->Session Options->Port forwarding-> Add. Even the ability for a keyboard shortcut would be ok for me.
Secondly there are a few of us here that use the F-Secure product (and I have used it as well). F-Secure has a button on the tool bar that opens up another window and you can add/delete your port forwarding requirements via this window.

Also posted under another thread, this is where F-Secure also display the status of their tunnell connections.
