Error on mac "Failed to create folder: Permission denied"

I'm getting the error "Failed to create folder:
Permission denied" on mac while creating a folder under sessions. Also not able to open any ssh session. This is a fresh install by the way. I have purchased the software from company group plan. I can't navigate through global options/settings, getting error -
"Access to the following folder is denied:

'/Users/****/Library/Application Support/VanDyke/SecureCRT/Config'

Please choose another folder."

Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

Hi ccie33426,

This problem is most likely caused by a flaw in the configuration management software used by your organization to deploy SecureCRT to your mac. Their custom package creates a configuration folder for SecureCRT, but does so as user "root", making the resulting configuration folder inaccessible to your user account.

Please contact your internal IT support team for assistance with applying your user ownership and permissions recursively to the SecureCRT configuration directory for your user account.
