Importing SSL/Telnet session info

Hello,

This must be a very basic question so please excuse me if this has been covered before. I am trying to import a co-workers device list, please advise.

Windows 7 pro
CRT Version 6.5.1

Thanks,

`jw

Hi jw,

Thanks for the question. This has been covered in the following forum thread:
http://forums.vandyke.com/showthread.php?t=8732
Does this help you accomplish your goal?

We also have a great tip that discusses backing up and restoring configuration data. This can be used to move configuration data between machines as well. I can be found at the following location:
http://www.vandyke.com/support/tips/backupsessions.html
Additionally, if we do add a feature to import sessions in a future SecureCRT release, we will post to this thread.

If you would like to be notified directly, please complete and submit the form at the following location:

Worked like a charm. We just copied the "sessions" folder and placed in on a shared drive. I then just copied and pasted it into my "Sessions" folder.

Thanks you for the help.

Regards,

Josh

Hi Josh,

The ability to export a SecureCRT configuration to and import it from an XML file has been added to SecureCRT 7.3. You can download the beta from the following location:
http://www.vandyke.com/download/securecrt/beta.html
The new options are located in the Tools menu.

We welcome any feedback about the new feature.
