Support for Nitrokey Pro2 -- ssh public key from gpg
Hello,
get a new hardware device for externalize keys to a Nitroykey Pro 2. Primary for secure my gpg key. ![]() What I now like todo, is use the possibility to use it for ssh public key authentication also. Has anyone experience on windows to use the private key from the Nitroykey. Found nothing which i found in the internet helps in this case, only for putty ![]() I use gpg4win. Have activated in kleopatra the ssh support, but don't know how to configure SecureCRT to use it, if possible. Any help here welcome if this kind of usage possible. As an alternative, it would be nice, to store the key inside the SecureCRT configuration. So it would be possible, to copy/transfere the settings include the key to different devices. Regards, Ingo |

Hi,
I'm on 8.5.4 Windows 10, but will also try if I got it work, on mac and linux. I found this forum entry, but the problem I have is, somehow I don't get the connection between securecrt and the stick/smartcard. there is no real description here. Maybe someone has a working description what todo to get it work. Most things I found are for linux. Will also go to the nitrokey forum with this. |
