Hello Erin,
I'm not sure I understand what you meant by running the script "on Telnet". Do you mean you need to use the Telnet protocol? Does the script contain any sensitive information, or is it something that you could post here? This is a public forum so please don't post sensitive information (such as username, password, IP address, hostname, etc.) to our forum.

I am using an external application, this app needs to run a script using secureCRT.
the app can use the cmd. Is there a way to do that? to start the secureCRT and run a script via the cmd? |

Does the external application need to drive SecureCRT through the script (are you looking for an API interface to SecureCRT so that you can connect through the external application)?
Or, do you just want to launch SecureCRT and have it start a script? The SecureCRT Help file discusses the command line options, including /Script. In Help / Contents tab / Using the Software / Command-Line Options, look for Table of Standard Command-Line Options. /SCRIPT filename Runs script contained in filename. "C:\Program Files\VanDyke Software\Clients\SecureCRT.exe" /Script "C:\Path\MyScript.vbs"
