Hi Guys,

I'm testing the scratchpad in SecureCRT 9.0 (Beta 1). I find this feature very useful, thanks for implementing it!

Let me mention two things what I think can be improved:

1) It is possible to save the content of the scratchpad, but I cannot load it back from the saved file. Of course if I open the saved scratchpad file in a text editor, then I can copy/paste the content back, but perhaps it would be more convenient to be able to open the saved file directly from SecureCRT. You might also consider "remembering" the last few saved scratchpad files to make it easier to load back.

2) It is possible to "Close all not connected" tabs. If I use this feature, it will close the open scratchpad(s) as well. Obviously scratchpad is not connected to anywhere, so on one hand it makes sense. On the other hand I'd prefer to keep open the scratchpad(s) even if I close not connected sessions. Can you exclude scratchpad(s) from "Close all not connected" feature? Or make it configurable if the feature closes scratchpads as well?
Adding to this I've also noticed, that there is no warning that the scratchpad is not saved before the system closes all not connected tabs. Please consider implementing a warning if there is not saved data on the scratchpad before the scratchpad window is closed.

• Ability to (re)open files using scratchpad
• Exclude scratchpad tab from Close all not connected functionality
• Prompt to save if scratchpad tabs/app are closed
