Hi space,

By "all windows are changed", do you mean the number of columns/wrap?

If so, that is likely expected behavior if the tab where you run screen is the first tab. The first tab controls the rows/columns and fonts of any other successive connected tab. This info is shown the first time you open multiple tabs.

As a note, I did not see any such restrictions in my tests. In a default SecureCRT configuration, the configured rows/columns were used by screen and honored by all tabs.

Please post screenshots that illustrate the issue you are reporting.

I don't know what you mean by that and it's not going to be enough to troubleshoot any issue.

Please post screenshots that illustrate the issue. See this information about posting screenshots.

hell,thanks for your reply

when you connect 3 or more tabs on SecureCRT,on someone os these tabs, just type screen -dmS xxxx

and all tabs will effect, for example

tab 1

screen -dmS xxxx

then choose tab 2

type ls or some the other command

and you will find something

Hi space,

I am working remotely and do not have access to a mac computer at this time.

Have you upgraded to v8.7.3, the current, official release?

Changes in SecureCRT 8.7.3 (Official) -- August 11, 2020
--------------------------------------------------------

  • Added a session INI-file-only option "Alternate Screen Output Added To Scrollback" which allows alternate screen (e.g., tmux) output to be put in the scrollback buffer.
Could this resolve your issue?
