Hi All,
I can't open a named pipe serial session by command line, if I open a session (successfully) via the GUI and I check the command line used in process explorer I have the following : "C:\Program Files\VanDyke Software\Clients\SecureCRT.EXE" /SERIAL (name of the pipe) if I try to do the same via cli I get this error : Error configuring port parameters for serial port (name of the pipe) Did you have any luck with this? Thanks, G. |

Hello Giovanni (and others),
The customer also contacted us via email and, after verifying some details internally, this functionality is not yet available. I have created a feature request in our product enhancement database for the ability to make ad hoc connections to named pipe via command-line. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here. If you prefer direct email notification, contact support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #11801" in the subject line. As a workaround, if you save the session in SecureCRT, you can use: SecureCRT.exe /S "serial-named pipe"
