Select tab to the left/right
Greetings,
Is there a way to map a key to move to the tab to the left or right of the current tab? I know there is previous and next, but this appears to move to the most recently used tabs. The reason I want this is because I am used to mapping <alt>-j to move tab left and <alt>-k to move to the tab to the right. Thanks! ![]() |

Hi jzekeb,
Thanks for the post. It is possible to map a key to move to the previous or next tab in the row. Here are the instructions to map a key to perform a menu function:

Thanks for the quick reply. Excellent service.
That's what I tried, but unless I'm just totally missing something this is not the functionality I am looking for. The menu_tab_prev and next seem to move me through the tabs in the order that I last used them. I want to be able to move to the tab directly to the left or right (or wrap) of the current tab. |

Hi jzekeb,
You are welcome. I am glad to help. What version of SecureCRT are you using? Do you have CTRL+TAB switches to most recently used tabbed or tiled session enabled in the Terminal / Tabs/Tiling category of the Global Options dialog? |

Hi Zeke,
Thanks for posting the confirmation that the issue is resolved and was just configuration related. |
