MAC Newbee
My company just switched to Mac's so this may be a dumb question. After installing Secure CRT I cant find the executable in the applications folder so I have to run the application from the .dmg file. Is this just because I'm using the evaluation version or is the app hidden somewhere else? I plan on purchasing the full version but not if i have to go through a mini install every time I use it.
Thanks! |

Hi asrobinson,
The DMG image is just a temporary mounted disk. You will need to drag the SecureCRT application to the Applications directory on your computer. I have added this thread to a feature request in our product enhancement database to have Mac installer (.dmg) prompt user regarding need to copy application to Applications folder. Should a future release of SecureCRT include this feature, notification will be posted here. If you prefer direct email notification, send an email to support@vandyke.com and include "Feature Request - Forum Thread #12232" in the subject line or use this form from the support page of our website.
