Resetting forgotten passphrase in 8.7.2

Trying to change passphrase for a server login which I've apparently forgotten. Do I need to create a new key pair or can I reset the passphrase somehow? I can access the server with a different username/pw account but my own username/pw account is I guess tied to the key pair as it yields "Unable to authenticate using any of the configured authentication methods." TIA for assistance/answers.

How did you create your keypair?

Are you actually being prompted for the passphrase?

If so, if your session is configured for publickey auth, you should be able to follow the steps in the Help file topic Secure Connections / Changing the Passphrase for a Private Key to accomplish your objective.
